Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy is probably the oldest known method of treating the human body. Many of us press or rub areas which become stiff, tight, and painful as we work or train, an intuitive process which mankind has implemented for eons.

In the right hands, Massage Therapy can relieve pain, restore range of motion, and balance the nervous system to promote health and well-being. It is a refined discipline which demands years of clinical experience, although it is often underutilized in the treatment of conditions related to pain and stress. Massage is used to treat disorders such as TMJ, neck and back pain, old sprains and strains, to move lymph and treat edema, and to relieve the discomfort and stress the body sustains during pregnancy.

Q Patty Wang attended the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy, after which she completed a certification program in Pregnancy Massage at Swedish Institute here in New York and studied Thai Massage in Thailand. Constantly seeking to grow as a therapist and improve her skills for her clients, Patty has also trained with those at the vanguard of our field, including Bob King, James Waslaski, Tom Bisio, and Frank Butler. She is the first call for some of the city's top physical trainers and business elite, many of whom depend on her treatments to keep them moving forward during times when their busy work or athletic schedules do not allow them to stop due to physical pain or stress.
